From the Latin gaudium for ‘joy’ and the imperative gaude ‘rejoice’, Gaudies are an opportunity (indeed, an obligation) to celebrate with other members of the College, both from the same cohort as well as of different generations.

Comprising an afternoon tea in the Principal’s Lodgings, an update about the College’s activity by a senior Fellow of the College and a three course black tie dinner, gaudies are generally the highlight of the alumni social calendar.

As the College transitions to the new pattern of gaudies, which ensures that everyone is invited back to College every five years on the anniversary of their matriculation, on this occasion we celebrate the 1962, 1969, 1982 and 2012 cohorts.

Hard copy invitations will be sent out for this event, so we advise all alumni in these years to update their contact details as soon as possible so as to not miss out!
