Dr Bennett Foddy
Academic Background
Dr Foddy studied for his undergraduate degrees and then his doctorate at the University of Melbourne, Australia. His doctorate was funded by an Australian Stem Cell Centre scholarship. He held the Harold T Shapiro postdoctoral fellowship in bioethics at Princeton University from 2007 to 2010.
Research Interests
Bioethics, medical ethics, neuroethics. Philosophy of addiction, obesity and willpower. Ethics of human enhancement, particularly lifespan enhancement. Ethics of sport.
Hobbies
Cooking, running, photography. I also write computer software and games as a hobby
