Vaughan-Thomas Fund

The Vaughan-Thomas Fund is a College trust fund which supports musical activities by College members, e.g. grants towards the cost of music lessons, courses etc., a percentage of which may be reimbursed by the Fund. Interested students should apply to the to the Cultural, Sporting and Travel Grants Committee via the online Cultural Sporting and Travel Grant Application Form, by Wednesday of 5th week each term (there are three funding rounds per academic year), detailing expenses already undertaken for musical purposes or expenses in prospect. Classical music lessons normally take priority, but, depending on the level of the Fund, any serious music-making activity undertaken by College members will be given consideration by the Committee. However, in this respect the Fund is not intended to duplicate the function of other musical funds (such as the JCR Arts Fund).
