Living and eating in College are an important part of the student experience. Here some of our undergraduates and graduates tell you about living in Jesus College accommodation on our main site in central Oxford and at the College flats. They also have something to say about the food!

Nick: In our first year, we are located in the centre of town, and one of the attractions of that is that it's very convenient for the libraries and the departments and people can move around the city very easily and get to know it.
Leigh: The low cost of the accommodation and the high quality of it makes it an extremely comfortable place to be living.
John-Michael: In the 2nd and 3rd years, most students move out to one of the two sets of college flats. The really good thing about living there I find is that you're living with people at the college who you get on really well with but also you've got a greater sense of independence, which is really nice. All the college flats have kitchens, so it really feels like you're looking after yourselves, and certainly in my flat we just about manage to do that!
Rhiannon: I live in a 4-bedroom flat with my flatmates, and it's really nice, especially in summer, because there are tennis courts and hockey pitches and really nice views.
Gareth: One of my favourite things about Jesus College is dinnertime and lunchtime. Not only do I think the food is of quite a good standard, but it's also a great time to come together and catch up with people who've been working throughout the day.
Emily: I could cook for myself if I wanted to, but I find that having meals in college is a lot more social. You get to re-connect with everybody, see what they've been doing; just hang out with people.
Gareth: People often go there for birthdays and special occasions, and then down to the College bar afterwards.
