Emily (GCR Social Secretary): The Jesus GCR is very, very international, which is great. The people that I met are from all over the world, a fair number of English and British people, but people from all over continental Europe, from Asia, some Americans, some Canadians. It's really an amazing mix of people.

Tom: You get to meet people that you'd never normally have the chance of meeting, with different degrees and different experiences of life.

Rosemary: As soon as I got here, I had a ready-built group of friends.

John: I think one of the best things that the Graduate Common Room does is that at the end of every term, we organise a dinner for all the graduates. That's in Hall after the undergrads have left. It's always a big event - black tie, great food, good wine and a big party afterwards, so that's really something to look forward to at the end of every term.
