A private view of London’s new Design District

We look forward to celebrating the opening of London’s new Design District, a new, permanent home for the creative industries on Greenwich Peninsula.

Hosted by Knight Dragon and JEN, the evening will feature a presentation and Q&A led by Knight Dragon’s CEO, Richard Margree, followed by a private drinks reception and plenty of opportunities to explore the development.

6PM: Arrival at the Bureau Building
6–6.30PM: Drinks and canapés reception
6.30–7.15PM: Presentation and Q&A
7.15–8PM: Networking and a tour of Design District for those interested
8PM onwards: Invitation to explore The Tide – a riverside sculpture trail

Dresscode: Smart casual

GETTING THERE

By tube: North Greenwich tube station is 12 minutes from Waterloo on the Jubilee Line. As you come up the escalator, head straight out of the station turning left on your exit. The Design District is within a minute’s walk of the station.

By bus: The North Greenwich bus station is accessible from any of 23 river stops via the Thames Clipper river bus service. It is connected to the tube station with direct links to South East London, Stratford, and Central London. As you arrive at the bus terminal follow the walkway keeping the terminal building on your left and then continue straight ahead into the Design District.

By car: There are ample parking spaces in the O2’s car parks. Head towards car parks 2, 3 and 4 for non-event and hourly parking.

ONCE HERE

Upon arrival head to the Bureau (see the red location pin in the first image). The evening will feature a presentation and Q&A led by Knight Dragon’s CEO, Richard Margree, followed by a private drinks reception and plenty of opportunities to explore the development.

EXPLORE

Delve beyond Peninsula Square to explore The Tide – a linear walkway that connects to the Riverside path, which will guide you on a scenic sculpture trail taking in artworks by Antony Gormley, Damien Hirst and Morag Myerscough.
