A thirteenth-century manuscript owned by Jesus College is on display in Oxford. MS 29, a compilation of Middle English poetry, has been lent to the Bodleian’s new exhibition Designing English, which explores the arrangement of words and images on the pages of early books. The manuscript can be seen alongside treasures from the Bodleian collections and the famous Alfred Jewel from the Ashmolean Museum.

The exhibition is open at the Weston Library and runs until 22 April 2018.
