Congratulations to Professor Martin Booth who has been elected to a Fellowship of the Optical Society (formerly the Optical Society of America).

He has been recognised ‘for innovative and pioneering research on dynamic optical methods and new approaches to adaptive optics and wave-front sensing, including applications in biomedical microscopy and laser material processing’. As an OSA Fellow, he joins a distinguished group of members who have served the Society and the optics and photonics community with distinction.
