Jesus College is delighted to be part of Target Oxbridge which is expanding its provision to 160 places this year. Target Oxbridge aims to increase the number of black African and Caribbean students at Oxford and Cambridge by helping talented pupils to apply. The year-long programme involves visits to each university along with an Easter residential course, and 35 out of the 86 students currently enrolled have received offers from Oxford and Cambridge. Jesus College is contributing funding from its annual Development Fund, and providing other resources, including a dinner for over 70 pupils during the Easter vacation. One of our alumni, Joshua Oware (Geography), helped to set up Target Oxbridge and was a mentor for students on the programme.
