In three upcoming exclusive Zoom workshops, members of our Jesus Entrepreneur Network (JEN) will be lending their expertise and support to Jesus students and young alumni to help them prepare to enter the challenging post-COVID-19 job market.

The Jesus Entrepreneur Network (JEN) is a fast-growing professional network committed to sharing expertise, advice, and skills with Jesus students, fellow alumni and friends of the College. Founded in 2015, the network began with its flagship student mentoring scheme for the annual All-Innovate competition, in partnership with the Oxford Foundry. Members of JEN coached the 2019 All-Innovate competition winners, beating 21 other Oxford colleges in the process.

The workshops, which begin with a session on networking called ‘Network like a boss’ on Friday 10th July, will see JEN members share advice on interviewing, CV preparation and mentoring to current Jesus students and young alumni.

The network is also looking to expand its reach. Dr Brittany Welner James, Director of Development and JEN lead, says, “Recently, the network has grown to include Jesus associate alumni from Saïd Business School and we look forward to expanding its reach to include a more diverse and global alumni community. The Jesus Entrepreneur Network welcomes anyone who has an interest in entrepreneurship and student mentoring to consider joining this valuable group.”

She adds, “We are committed to supporting our students and young alumni, especially in such challenging times. We hope that these workshops will inform and empower them to explore all the opportunities available as we move through the current pandemic and into a very different employment landscape.”

Details of the free workshops are below. Please note that places for each workshop are limited. To register your interest, please email alumni@jesus.ox.ac.uk.
