Jesus College is one step closer to the semi-finals of this year’s University Challenge after storming to victory against the Courtauld Institute of Art in the popular university quiz show’s quarter–final rounds.  Congratulations to Lucy Clarke (DPhil Early Modern History), James Cashman (History), Matt Cook (PPE) and Miranda Stevens (Biology), who all faced some tricky questions in a closely fought competition but eventually won 135 to 90.

Lucy says, “The Courtauld were tough (and extremely fun) opponents, and we're so happy to have made it through to play another game!"

If the team make it through their next quarter-final challenge they’ll join Imperial College London and Corpus Christi College, Cambridge in the semi-finals.
