Academic Background
I am currently completing my DPhil in Jurisprudence at Hertford College. Before starting the DPhil, I read law as an undergraduate at Kent Law School, in the UK, for which I received several awards for best performance.
Beyond my teaching duties at Jesus College, I also provide tutorials to undergraduate law students in the Jurisprudence course at St. Hilda’s College, where I am a Lecturer in Law, and at Hertford College.

Research Interests
My research focuses on law and language, legal interpretation, the rule of law, and legal epistemology, paying particular attention to arbitrariness in judicial decision-making and ambiguity in language. In particular, I am interested in questions of degree that arise in law and legal contexts.
I am a founding and executive member of The Collective of Women in Legal Philosophy, a group created to promote and support women in legal philosophy and legal theory, and currently co-convene the Oxford Jurisprudence Discussion Group (2023-2025). I also provide research assistance to Professor David Enoch.
