The John Dickey Fund was set up in 2005 using money donated by John Dickey, a former member of the College. The Dickey Scholarship will be awarded to a US citizen who has a confirmed place to study at Jesus College.

Who can apply?

All US citizens holding an offer of a place for entry to a first degree course (BA or 2nd BA) at Jesus College.

How many Scholarships are there?

There will usually be no more than one Scholarship available in a year, but a Scholarship will not be available every year. If no application is of sufficient merit, the Governing Body of the College will recommend that no Scholarship is awarded.

How much is the Dickey Scholarship worth?

The value of the Scholarship is in the region of £2,000 per annum and, subject to satisfactory academic performance, will be payable for each year of the undergraduate degree course.

How do I apply?

Applications will be invited from suitably qualified offer-holders after the admissions round late in the calendar year.
