Each year in Trinity Term the Governing Body awards a Graham Ward Award to a current undergraduate or graduate of the College who meets the following three criteria:
- The student shall exhibit outstanding qualities of leadership.
- The student shall display ability in sport of a standard above that commonly achieved by those who play sport within the College. Such ability shall be displayed in not less than two sports, and least one to be from the following list: rugby football, association football, hockey, athletics, cricket, rowing, real tennis, lawn tennis, squash, swimming or boxing.
- The student must be making satisfactory academic progress.
The award is worth in the region of £150: it may be awarded to one individual or be shared between two people.
The award is made on the recommendation of the Cultural, Sporting and Travel Funds Committee. There is no need to apply.
