I undertook my MChem (Magdalen College) and DPhil (st. Cross College) at Oxford before moving to the ISIS Spallation Neutron Source as a researcher and instrument scientist. I then moved back to Oxford for a departmental lectureship teaching at st. Anne’s College, before taking up my current role at Jesus. My research fellowship is held at University College London within the condensed matter and materials physics group.
