We are deeply saddened at the passing of our friend and colleague, Dr John Walsh.  John was Fellow and Tutor in History from 1958 – 1992, Senior Research Fellow from 1992-1994, and became an Emeritus Fellow in 1994.

John was a considerable scholar and an outstanding Tutorial Fellow whose concern for his students was always paramount. He was a much loved and respected member of our College community, and will be deeply missed. The College flag is flying at half-mast. A full obituary will follow in due course.
