Academic Background
DPhil MRCP
I studied pre-clinical medicine at the University of St Andrews before completing my clinical training at Barts and The London. I then moved to Oxford to take up an academic foundation job before completing an MRC Clinical Research Training Fellowship funded DPhil focussing on utilising linked pathogen genomics and electronic health record data to study Gram-negative bacteraemia. I am now continuing my clinical training whilst conducting post-doctoral research relating to the genetics of antibiotic resistance and serotype epidemiology in E. coli.
