Academic background

I studied at Paris Diderot University, where I specialised in English Literature for my Master’s degree - I am currently completing my PhD dissertation on Victorian poet A.C. Swinburne. I taught for three years at Paris Diderot University, before getting a teaching position at Queens’ College, University of Cambridge.

Research interests

Victorian poetry - my PhD research focuses on the avatars of decomposition in the work of Algernon Charles Swinburne. I’m also interested in intertextuality and the influence of Medieval and early Renaissance French literature on Victorian poetry.
