A law graduate at the University of Bologna, Luca Enriques earned his LLM at Harvard Law School and his PhD at Bocconi University. He has been Assistant, Associate and Full Professor of Business Law at the University of Bologna Faculty of Law (1999-2012), and Full Professor of Business Law at Luiss Guido Carli University in Rome (2013-2014). He was a John Olin Fellow at Cornell Law School (for two short periods in 1999 and 2000), Visiting Professor at the University of Udine (2000-2002), at the Instituto de Impresa (Madrid) (2005), at the Interdisciplinary Center Herzliya Radzyner School of Law (2012-13), Sydney Law School (2019) and Columbia Law School, and Herbert Smith Freehills Visitor at the Cambridge University Faculty of Law (2014-15). In 2012-2013 he was Nomura Visiting Professor of International Financial Systems at Harvard Law School.
