The Fellowships offer Senior Common Room membership, full dining rights, an academic allowance of £1,000 p.a., a nominal Fellowship stipend, and eligibility to apply for the College’s Major Research Grants Fund.

Jesus College, Oxford proposes to elect up to two Senior Research Fellowships, tenable from 1 October 2018 for three years in the first instance, with the possibility of renewal.  The Fellowships are intended for those who possess clear international academic distinction in research (normally building on the existing strengths of the College).  It is expected that applicants will be employed in the University of Oxford and will not already hold a college affiliation.  The College is particularly keen to attract applicants in the Humanities and Social Sciences and is therefore happy to consider suitably qualified applicants who do not hold a University post but who are located in Oxford and associated with institutions in Oxford or who are retired but still research–active.

The Fellowships offer Senior Common Room membership, full dining rights, an academic allowance of £1,000 p.a., a nominal Fellowship stipend, and eligibility to apply for the College’s Major Research Grants Fund.

Further information on these Fellowships can be accessed using the link below, or from the Principal’s Secretary, Jesus College, Oxford OX1 3DW (principals.secretary@jesus.ox.ac.uk), to whom applications should be sent by noon on 8 May 2018.  It is the responsibility of applicants to ask their referees to send their references (two are required) direct to the Principal’s Secretary by the same date.  Interviews are expected to be held on 7 June 2018.

Jesus College, Oxford is an equal opportunities employer.
