Jesus College welcomes applications for Short-Term Visiting Fellowships, tenable for a minimum period of 3 weeks and a maximum period of one Oxford term.  These Fellowships are non-stipendiary. We also welcome applications from non-academics with exceptional levels of achievement in the arts, politics and public life. These positions are also suited to faculty members on sabbatical leave from their permanent positions.

Applications are invited for the academic year starting October 2020 through to the end of September 2021 (Michaelmas Term 2020, Hilary Term 2021, Trinity Term 2021, the long Vacation 2021). There are two deadlines for applications: 12 noon GMT on Friday 3 April 2020 and Friday 29 May 2020. Applications should be received at least six months before the start of the proposed fellowship.   1. A full Curriculum Vitae (four sides A4 max), including details of education and, for academic scholars, a list of publications; your CV should demonstrate your intellectual or professional distinction.
  2. A brief description (two sides A4 max) of the research or project to be pursued in Oxford.

Please note that, in addition, two letters of support should be emailed directly to the Principal’s Secretary, Mrs Helen Gee – by the closing date. The College does not prompt referees for references.
