Nova is a by-invitation-only global talent network that connects the top 3% of talent with each other to develop and accelerate their careers. The Nova 111 Student List is an annual publication that selects the top 111 Spanish students aged 18–25 who show the highest potential across 11 different disciplines.
The selection process starts by receiving a nomination to apply, followed by a rigorous review period that includes references from past mentors or bosses, and an interview. A jury of recognised industry leaders and talent experts then chooses the ten students in each discipline to make it to the list. The selected talents get access to benefits designed to accelerate their development and impact on the world, including being invited to exclusive sessions with professionals in their field of study. Over 2000 nominations to apply were issued to Spanish students in 2023, making Xavier’s achievement all the more special. He says: ‘It is an immense honour to have been recognised as one of the top 10 Law students in Spain. I would like to thank the entire Jesus college community in general, and my tutor Miles Jackson for helping me discover the fascinating world of common law. I look forward to keeping growing and learning in this vibrant community!”.
