Academic Background
I obtained my undergraduate and Masters degrees in Classics at the Università Salesiana in Rome. In 2017, I obtained a second Masters in Medieval Studies from the Complutense University of Madrid. In September 2023, I completed my doctoral dissertation at the Centre for the Study of the Renaissance of the University of Warwick, where I wrote a thesis about the Neo-Latin poet Maffeo Vegio.
I have taught Latin language and Renaissance Latin literature at the University of Warwick and other institutions in America and Europe. I currently teach Latin and Greek at Oxford Latinitas, where I am Deputy Director.

Research Interests
I am interested in Classical reception and literature written in Latin and Greek beyond the classical period, mainly during the Renaissance. My current research project explores religious epics in Latin. I am interested in the imagery that Renaissance poets use to represent their own relationship with their classical models.
Hobbies
I enjoy watching movies, and when I am not reading Latin or Greek literature for a job or research, I like reading modernist poetry, mainly in English and Spanish. My favourite non-classical authors are T.S Eliot and Jorge Luis Borges.
Publications
I have published on ancient language didactics, and I have several forthcoming articles and papers on Neo-Latin literature and classical reception.
