The appointment of a Junior Dean at Jesus College, will be to support Student Discipline, Student Welfare and working with the Lodge Team to provide support. This post is a one-year appointment. The appointment may be renewed for one further year following a review process with the Dean.

The College’s aim is to make it a place where everyone can pursue their studies, enjoy their free time and flourish both academically and socially.
The Junior Dean assists the Dean and other College Officers in the smooth running of the College, with particular regard to non-academic discipline and student welfare. The Junior Dean works closely with the Dean, who is a Fellow of the College, and who bears the main responsibility for non-academic disciplinary matters.
The Junior Dean works as part of a team of three Junior Deans, together they are expected to cover the College main site and two other sites (in North Oxford and East Oxford). All are expected to work as a collaborative team and to actively participate in College life and to be present around the College.
