Jesus College is one of the thirty-eight constituent colleges of the University of Oxford. With Professor Sir Nigel Shadbolt FRS FREng as its Principal, Jesus College comprises some 80 Fellows, 35 lecturers, 230 graduates, 355 undergraduates and 95 support staff.

The College has a strong commitment to academic values and success, and is characterised by an informal and friendly atmosphere.

The College is located on an attractive historic site in the heart of the city of Oxford, close to shops, cafes and restaurants, theatres and cinemas, and the historic Covered Market.

Oxford train station is a 15-minute walk away, and Gloucester Green bus station is just 5 minutes from the main entrance. There is ample bike parking both in College and the surrounding roads.

Stipendiary Lectureship in Computer Science

Non-Stipendiary Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) in Linguistics, Philology and Phonetics

Jesus College, Oxford invites applications for a Non-Stipendiary Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) in Linguistics, Philology and Phonetics, tenable for three years from 1 October 2021, or as soon as possible thereafter. The Fellowship is open to those pursuing research in Linguistics and who are at an early stage of their academic career, typically at post-doctoral level.


Housekeeping Supervisor

Closing date: 9am on Monday 21st June

Salary: £21,236 – £24,462 

Jesus College is seeking a full time Housekeeping Supervisor to assist the Housekeeping Manager in the running of this key function for the College. The role will be mainly responsible for carrying out quality assurance checks and identifying improvements to ensure that cleaning in the College remains at a high standard.  There will also be a small amount of cleaning incorporated in the role.

The role is generally Monday to Friday, although there will be a small number of weekends which will need to be covered.
