Denis Stevens Prize in Music

The Denis Stevens Prize Fund was set up using money provided by Daphne Stevens-Pascucci to establish a prize in memory of her father, Professor Denis Stevens CBE, former member of the College.

The Prize is awarded annually in Trinity Term on the recommendation of the Tutors in Music. The Prize shall be awarded for meritorious work in the history or analysis of Western music, excluding predominantly improvised repertories.

The value of the Prize is determined by Governing Body and takes the form of books chosen by the prize-winner and approved by a Tutor in Music.
