Bed & Breakfast

We are pleased to offer Bed & Breakfast accommodation in student bedrooms during the vacation periods.

OUR ROOMS

Various styles of room are available, including a mixture of traditional standard singles and twins with shared bathroom facilities, and more modern single ensuite rooms. We also have some fully-accessible rooms should you require one. All accommodation is located on the main College site or Ship Street, and each room is provided with towels, toiletries, tea and coffee making facilities, and free internet access.

Housekeeping will remove rubbish on a daily basis (Monday to Friday) provided that this is placed outside of the room for collection. Linen/towels will be changed on the 3rd day of your stay, unless otherwise requested.

Laundry and ironing facilities are available in the College, and a swipe card for the washing machines and dryers can be obtained from the Lodge. Hairdryers are available on request.

OUR BREAKFASTS

Breakfast is served in the Elizabethan Dining Hall between 8.00 am and 9.00 am. The breakfast menu consists of fruit juices, cereal, toast, and a Full English breakfast with tea or coffee*.

*During term time, the Sunday breakfast offering is a continental-style takeaway breakfast bag which can be collected from the servery.

The Dining Hall is a wonderful venue in which to start your day in Oxford. On the north wall of Hall hangs a full-length portrait of the College’s Founder, Queen Elizabeth I, and other portraits include Charles I and Charles II, as well as benefactors, former Principals, alumni (including T.E. Lawrence) and former Prime Minister Harold Wilson. A portrait of Dr Felicity Heal, an Emeritus Fellow of the College, hangs above the fireplace.

ARRIVALS

Rooms are usually available from 2pm on the day of your planned arrival. Check-in takes place at the College Lodge (on Turl Street) and a member of our Lodge team will welcome you and direct you to your room. Please notify us in advance if you have mobility difficulties, and require assistance with your luggage.

The Lodge is staffed 24 hours a day. Guests arriving after 8.00 pm can access the College by ringing the doorbell, and a member of staff will unlock the gate.

All guests must leave their rooms by 10am on the day of departure.

If you are travelling to Oxford by car, please note that the College has no onsite parking, and where possible, we encourage you to use one of the city’s Park & Ride locations. The closest Park & Ride bus stop is just a 3 minute walk from the College.
