Academic Background

I studied for my undergraduate degrees in Physics and Electronics and Electrical engineering in India at the Goa branch of Birla Institute of Technology and Science. I obtained my PhD in Theoretical Physics in the US at Stony Brook University in 2018. Between 2018- 2021, I was a Simons postdoctoral fellow at the International Centre for Theoretical Sciences in India before moving to Oxford in 2021 as a postdoc at the Rudolf Peierls Centre for Theoretical Physics.

Undergraduate & Postgraduate Teaching Areas

Maths Methods – Quantum MechanicsQuantum Field Theory – Topological Quantum Physics – Quantum Matter 1 & 2

Research Interests

Theoretical Condensed Matter Physics – Quantum Information – Statistical Mechanics.

Other Information

I am interested in understanding the impacts of climate change and ongoing efforts to develop effective near and long-term strategies in response to it.
