MEng
Samuel holds an MEng in Engineering Science from the University of Oxford, where his fourth-year research project on roadside NOx emissions won the IMechE best project award. He is currently completing his DPhil at the Department of Engineering Science. Samuel is a Fellow of the Oxford SDG Impact Lab. He has previously worked in the construction industry in Canada, where he worked as a civil engineer and site supervisor for microtunnelling operations. An enthusiastic tutor, Samuel is also a college lecturer at Keble College and, previously, Balliol College.

Research Interests
Samuel’s current research focuses on alternative fuels and advanced combustion strategies for thermal propulsion systems, with the aim of helping to make the transition away from fossil fuels as rapid as possible.
