Thanks to the support and remarkable generosity of alumni, students and staff, Jesus College is delighted to announce it can offer two additional studentships to Ukrainian graduates to study at the College over the next two consecutive years.

The Ukrainian Student Support Fund was originally launched in May 2022, with a further appeal earlier this year. Since then, past and present members of the College community have come together to raise over £60,000 towards the Fund, securing support for a total of three studentships for promising scholars who have been affected by the ongoing war in Ukraine.

The first student to benefit from this initiative, Georgi Pervushyn, joined us in Michaelmas 2022. He recently thanked the College community for the support they have shown, saying: “My fellow Ukrainian students and I simply could not take part in this opportunity otherwise, and the fund has been life-changing for all of us. Thank you!”
