Jesus College is to host its first Jesus Artists Week, a week of events and online content that celebrates the work of its Short-Term Visiting Fellows in Art – Peter McDonald, Stephen Wong, and Marcus Coates – and the new Meyricke Library mural which has been created by artist Grace Exley, the College’s Library Assistant.

All members of the College community are invited to come and join us from Tuesday 24th October as we open up the doors of the Rosaline Wong Gallery (in the Buchanan Tower Room) to showcase a new artwork created for the College by artist Stephen Wong (Tuesday 24th), and host a digital exhibition of Stephen’s remarkable sketchbook in the Digital Hub (Thursday 26th). There’s also the opportunity to hear from Marcus Coates and Peter McDonald as they discuss their exhibited work at a special evening event on Thursday 26th.

In addition, there will be lots of content on the College website and social media channels, including a film and interview with Grace about the inspiration behind, and creation of, the new Meyricke mural (Wednesday 25th October).
