S R Welson Prize

The Welson Prize Fund was set up using money provided by Mr J B Welson to establish an annual prize in memory of his son.

The Prize is awarded annually in Trinity Term on the recommendation of the Tutors in Law. It is normally given to a second-year undergraduate who has produced meritorious work for either the Final Honour School on Jurisprudence or a course where Jurisprudence forms a substantial part.

The value of the Prize is determined by Governing Body and takes the form of books chosen by the prize-winner and approved by the Tutors in Law.
