Women in Science 2021 Access Event launches

24 May 2021

We’ve launched our call for the Jesus College Women in Science 2021event, which reaches out to Year 12 students who are interested in finding out about studying science at university.

In conjunction with the Oxford colleges of Trinity and Wadham, each year we host young women scientists from state schools in the North East, Oxford, Wales and London. The aim is to encourage and inspire Year 12 students who have an interest in science to explore its varied and exciting potential at university. This programme would usually be in Oxford, however, due to Covid-19 restrictions, the 2021 Women in Science event will be a live-streamed webinar that is open to all UK state schools.

Who is this event for?

This event is for female and non-binary Year 12 students studying at UK state schools and colleges.

When and how?

The live virtual event will take place on Thursday 17th June from 16:00-17:30.

This year’s virtual event will be live-streamed via You Tube, with interactive Q&A also included throughout.
